Synopsis:

A group of friends are bored one afternoon during a long summer day. They brainstorm ideas for fun and decide a picnic is in order! When the day arrives, they head to the meadow with their basket and set up under their favorite tree. But wild thunderclaps commence, and they dive for cover. All quiets again when the glorious image of Mother Nature appears. They crawl from under their blanket. This happens two more times. Between these loud, stormy outbursts, they enjoy all manner of meadow life. They are, however, suspicious of the regularity of these storms. They screw up their courage and investigate. They discover the thunderclaps are not due to the vagaries of the weather. A surprise awaits, and all ends joyously!
